Today’s question: What’s the connection between St. Patrick’s Day, the World Race 2011 and our novel?
Hint: The car is NOT green, and we’re not driving through Ireland. Leave your comments.
More publicity. Wednesday was a busy day for publicity. We were on the Front page again, this time the News of Orange County, our local weekly paper. Not only did we appear on the front page, but the book cover was also shown with a plug for Purple Crow, our local bookstore. Then in the mail, we received a copy of Vintage Voice, the Vintage VW club magazine and the article we had written earlier was published in this issue. Very timely! Two newspapers and one magazine in one week. Then Oprah called.
Back to reality. Ed is packing-well, sorting first-all the spare parts and tools that we will be taking on the trip. This is his least favorite job so far. He even offered to vacuum the house to postpone it a bit more. Now that’s procrastination! Me, I have a least favorite job to finish as well. I am editing the bibliography for three chapters I agreed to write for a textbook in pediatric physical therapy. Research and writing is done. But this MUST be done before I leave, but man, it is this time-consuming, tedious and boring. Writing is not boring but this editing is.
Back to work.
